Tracey Golder
Director/ International Project Manager
Tracey has a managerial, pastoral & advising role in the day to day running of Love in Action. Tracey is also very hands on within Cambodia. She has a wide range of experience working internationally in third world countries, New Zealand, and Australia spanning over twenty-five years. Tracey has worked with children, youth and adults since being a young person and has a great love for people.Tracey is an ordained pastor, trained counsellor and a professional vocalist and vocal teacher. Her wide range of experience in running programmes of training and projects assists her greatly in working side by side with Ruth in running LIA.
Ruth and Tracey work well together and one can be excused if they feel like they are talking to the same person when talking to either of them. Tracey herself knows what it is like to be fatherless. She lost her father to cancer at a young age. Her family knew what it was like to literally believe for their next meal. This has all prepared Tracey for her destiny in caring, loving, fighting for and guiding others. She finds her strength in her relationship with God who equips her to fulfil the vision He has placed within.
Tracey has in recent years been challenged with illness which brought her to a place of near death. On her journey of recovery it has only increased her passion to assist and love the sick, poor and needy. Tracey has a great spirit of joy around her life which is very infectious and which has been increased by trials. A principle instilled in her as a child. Tracey's name means "Fighter or Warrior". That inner strength is what she uses to fight for others. The nation of Cambodia is such a part of her that in talking about it her countenance comes alive.
Tracey's Principle in Life: The Joy of the Lord is Her Strength !
