LOVE IN ACTION is a work based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, running orphanages, young adults home, medical clinics and feeding the poor. Ruth Golder is the founder and director of Love In Action.
Ruth has had 25 years experience in living and working in third world countries such as India, Africa, Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and China.
Since 2001 Ruth has been living and working in Cambodia. She has a great desire to see the people of Cambodia given a future and a hope.
At the beginning of 2004 Ruth started the work of Love in Action, where the name of this work speaks for itself. Love in Action is a Christian based charity work and aims to show the people of Cambodia what caring really means.
Ruth has always been a very active and respected member in her local community as well as her local church Suncoast Christian Centre.Ruth is a widow and has lived and based herself on the Sunshine Coast for 33 years. After raising her three children, Ruth turned her efforts to helping those overseas continuing to fulfil her lifelong desire of reaching out to others in need. Ruth considers it a privilege to work for God and others in this way.
Love in Action is run by donations of caring people. Ruth herself knows what it is to live on the edge and see wonderful things happen.
